Welcome to the official website of the Abbotsford Genealogical Society (AGS). The Society strives to create a friendly atmosphere where people interested in genealogical research and family history can come together. The AGS promotes, fosters and encourages members to learn the principles, methods and effective techniques of genealogical research. The Society collects, preserves, displays and shares information that may lead to a greater understanding of genealogy. For more details regarding our purpose, see the Society's Membership and Governance Pages.
The AGS is taking a break from meetings and educational sessions until Fall 2016. Members can access the Resource Centre anytime The Reach is open to the public [www.thereach.ca]. Non-members or members looking for assistance should consult the Volunteer Schedule available under the Resource Centre tab. Take this time to focus on your family research and enjoy the summer.
